I was the kid who begged to be taken to the airport just to watch planes take off.

I grew up in Uruguay — a small country in South America, beautiful but expensive to reach, with limited air connections to the rest of the world. Travel wasn't something people took for granted. My family is Italian, and even getting to Europe felt like a major undertaking.

I was lucky enough to end up in the United States, where I managed to finish my MBA at the University of Texas at just 20 years of age. From there, I landed in Switzerland, where I've lived for the past twelve years. Moving to Europe changed everything. Suddenly, the world was accessible. You could visit the Colosseum or the Eiffel Tower that you'd only ever seen in movies. I leaned into it — I've now visited 115 countries, and frequent flyer programs made a meaningful part of that possible.

My career took me through wealth management, trade finance, and fintech — becoming Chief of Staff along the way. I'm usually the one booking trips for family and friends too, and I always wanted to build something that combined those worlds while being able to help even more travellers. It took a while to find the right idea — but here it is.

Airlines keep reducing the value they offer to loyal customers. They call it an "enhancement." They cite customer demand. Meanwhile, dream vacations go up in smoke.
